Hey there,
It’s Robin from CFD Engine & I can’t believe that it’s a year since I started writing these emails – time flies when your meshing about with CFD.
This is just a short note (for a change) to say thank you for being here & to share a few OnCFD stats.
As always, I appreciate you giving me a slice of your attention in such competitive times 🙏
Stats
In case you’re interested, there are 580 other people receiving this email, from all over the world, doing all sorts of CFD. We pick up a few new friends each week, as long as I manage to keep up the promotion.
As far as I can tell, the OpenFOAM emails are the most popular, followed by the more general ones, with ParaView & AWS tying for last place – it’s not a big gap though.
Most weeks I get a handful of replies, from which I’ve had some great discussions, learned a lot & re-shared most of it.
If I was better on the socials then I’m sure our tribe would be bigger. I share this stuff on LinkedIn, but that’s about all I can cope with. I see many of you on there liking the posts though, thank you, it really does help to spread the word 💛
On that note, if you have a CFD friend that might dig this content then please send them an email/sms/postcard them telling them they should sign up immediately at oncfd.com & that they’re really missing out.
They (& I) will thank you for it 👍
Before you go
I don’t mention it enough but, when I’m not writing these emails, I help companies with their CFD strategy.
Often that’s helping to guide companies as they switch to OpenFOAM from a commercial code. But it’s also about helping companies to make better use of their existing CFD resources through training & improved processes.
If that’s something you’d like to explore further – and you’d like me to help you do it – then just hit reply.
Thank you again for your support this past year, here’s to the next one.
🎂
Stay safe,
